Selecting a Qualified Default Investment Alternative (QDIA)

Workforces are diverse—in how they invest, how they feel about risk and how they save. We believe one size doesn’t fit all in retirement planning, especially when it comes to selecting the QDIA for a plan. The following considerations were created to help during the evaluation process.

Managed accounts: A more personalized QDIA

As technology has improved and recordkeepers are able to automatically collect employee data, there is an opportunity to offer a personalized default service through a managed account.

Defining QDIA
