Understanding the model reading
The meter above shows Stadion’s recent retirement model risk level reading. The color and meter level indicate how our internal indicators view market conditions. “Green” is the most favorable reading, indicating that risk levels are relatively low. “Red” means the model has assessed the market conditions as unfavorable, meaning that risk levels are relatively high.
What it means for our clients
The lower the risk level, the more your Stadion team is likely to increase portfolios’ exposure to equities in an attempt to help investors capture gains in the market.
The higher the risk level, the more your Stadion team is likely to move portfolio holdings to more conservative investments in an attempt to protect investors from possible volatility.
Stadion regularly posts a retirement model risk level reading icon and provides commentary weekly.* Note that the risk levels are not indicative of actual equity holdings. They simply provide an indication of how we are interpreting market risk levels. Stadion's risk level icons are not intended as specific investment advice and should not be relied on for making investment decisions.
